My First Week at Daycare!!

Maddy started daycare this week - it is proving to be much harder on me than on her! She's had 2 great days so far - finished both of her bottles that we provided, had some good nap time, and lots of great playtime! The daycare is only a couple of miles from the house, and not too far from Greg's work, which is really nice. We decided to start her this week to ease the transition and I'm glad, because it would have been very hard for me next week to start work AND have Maddy start daycare. I think I'll feel much more comfortable after she's been there a week, knowing she's doing well, and getting used to the staff there, etc. She's still sleeping well at night - from about 9 PM until 5 AM, although last night she woke up crying at 3:30. We were able to get her back to sleep until 5 before feeding her. We've moved her from our bedroom to the crib, which is a big step. She's still sleeping in the car seat, but we put the car seat in the crib to help get her used to the surroundings. Once they start working on having her sleep in the crib at daycare, we'll start trying that here. Here are some pictures of Maddy that they took at daycare - she LOVES the blue checkered seat!
