Boy I'm slacking.....

It's been awhile since I last updated the blog... life is much busier these days with me now back at work! Let's see, what's new? Last weekend we had dinner at the new Border Cafe in Burlington - what a zoo! We were able to get a nice table in the bar area next to the fireplace - great food and yummy Margaritas and Pina Coladas. Madalyn slept through most of it. Although lately her naps have been power naps - no more than 30 minutes and she's up wanting to see what's going on. Sunday we had a nice day up at Grammy and Grampy Mullen's in Salem - Auntie Jenn was there (Uncle Shawn was sick :() and we had a nice dinner and Madalyn had fun entertaining us all with her non-stop talking, smiling and laughing. She really has so much to say these days!! Yesterday we went up to Auntie Jenn and Uncle Shawn's - the boys played poker while the girls went out to lunch and then shopping and had lots of fun...
Today we took a ride up to Swampscott and walked on the beach. Wilson loved it because we could let him off of the leash. And Maddy seems to love the fresh (albeit COLD) air :) Unfortunately the afternoon jaunt was cut short when Maddy and I almost

disappeared in some mud/quicksand - we sank down pretty fast and Greg had to come to our rescue. Of course then HE almost got stuck in it. We both had mud up to our knees! Thankfully Maddy stayed dry and clean. Tonight we are dancing with her to her favorite tunes because she's been crying a lot tonight - we felt in her mouth and can feel, and SEE, a white spot on her gums on the left bottom side - could she be teething already??? Hopefully it doesn't bother her too much tonight - she's been sleeping so well - 8 PM to 7 AM straight (still in the car seat, in the crib, but we're propping it back so it's flatter and she's not propped up so much). Well, I'll try to keep this more current...
