Sad news

On March 22, Grandma Burke passed away. She was 90 and lived a full life, but we are still very sad about the sudden loss and we miss her. I was told my many people at her funeral how much she loved me, her granddaughter, and Madalyn, her great-granddaughter, and that she talked about us all the time. Sadly, she never got to meet Maddy, although she did get to see lots of pictures of her. We had been planning a trip up to VT on Mother's Day, when Mom & Tom would be back from FL. It's a strong reminder to do as much as you can during the time you are here - you never know when someone might be taken from you unexpectedly. Madalyn was an angel the whole time up in VT, and was full of smiles. We're looking forward to many more trips up to Vermont this summer.
