Grammy & Maddy's Weekend O' Fun

Both Kristen and I were away from Maddy for the first time together this past weekend when we attended Michelle & Brett's wedding on Nantucket. We had a great time but it was very hard leaving Maddy on Friday. It was nice to know that Maddy was in good hands with Grampy & Grammy Mullen (after all they did a fine job raising Jen-fa and yours truly). Grammy Mullen was very excited and she had an action packed weekend planned complete with a "ladies lunch" @ a restaurant called 'Maddies', a trip to the mall and numerous walks around the neighborhood. All reports from Grammy say that Maddy was a complete angel - although we suspect that the report wouldn't state otherwise regardless of Maddy's performance :) Everyone seemed to have a great weekend despite the oppressive heat on Saturday. And oh yeah Wilson had a good time as well and was a perfect gentleman. We are definitely thankful that we have Grammy to look after Maddy on Fridays and we are already planning another quick weekend getaway for the end of this year.
I can't believe that the unofficial end of Summer is approaching this weekend. We are hoping to make it up to York for one of the weekend days so that Maddy can meet second cousins Mark & Katie - hopefully we'll have some good beach weather. This Summer has been so busy and we've only made it to the beach once so it will be nice to get one more beach day in.
Also, we forgot to post Maddy's stats from her 9 month appointment. Dr Geller/Saget says that she is thriving and she is very cute (he also says that he doesn't say that to most babies)

Height - 29 inches 95th percentile
Head - Perfect size
Feet - extremely small
Appetite - Large
