Mother's Day and Outside Fun

We had a very nice Mother's Day weekend. Grandma and Grampa Myers arrived from FL for a visit on their way back to Vermont for the Summer/Fall. We had a nice time, even though Saturday was a complete washout - cool and rainy. My mom and I took Caitlin and Maddy to the indoor playground and everyone had fun. Then we had a "girls lunch" at a local Mexican restaurant which was delicious (Caitlin snoozed through most of it). Sunday (Mother's Day) was a nice sunny day, albeit a bit brisk, but we bundled up and spent some time outside. Grammy and Buppa came down along with Auntie Jenn & Uncle Shawn. The new play set was almost done and Maddy had a blast on the swing. Greg grilled up a great meal and then we celebrated Grampa Myers birthday with a cake and ice cream. A great day with family :)

This past weekend we had a few friends over for a BBQ on Sunday. It was a picture perfect day and the kids had a blast on the play set and running around the yard. Once again, Greg outdid himself on the grill and the beers were flowing as well. It felt like summer. I hope it is a preview into the summer and that we get lots of nice summer days on the weekends to enjoy!
