Catching Up - Caitlin's 1 Year Stats

For the record, Caitlin had her 1 year appt and checked out great. She was 21 lbs 5 oz (55th percentile) and 29 3/4 inches (70th percentile). Now, at 13 months, she is walking a lot on her own, but still prefers to crawl if she wants to get somewhere fast. She has 5 teeth with at least 2 more just about to come in. She is very independent and quite feisty - she is already throwing full blown, screaming, sprawled on the floor, fists pounding tantrums. Don't mess with Caitlin :) Luckily they don't last long, but Maddy has figured out how to push her buttons. Thankfully most of the time Maddy is very loving and affectionate toward Caitlin and has fun keeping her busy and laughing.

We went to Wendy's for lunch this weekend while we were killing time during our open house. I had a flashback to the first time we ever took Maddy to a fast food restaurant (I recall we felt like the worst parents at that time). Although we don't frequent those places too often, we do have an appreciation for the quick service and kid-friendly meals, albeit not the healthiest. At least they have some healthier side options now (like mandarin oranges vs fries.) I snapped this picture of Caitlin which is very similar to the one of Maddy below it (Maddy was around 17 months old at the time.) They both love Wendy's :)
